Shawn Pendleton, PA-C

Shawn Pendleton, PA-C was born and raised on the Wasatch front. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Utah. He then received his Master of Clinical Medical Science and Physician Assistant Studies from Barry University in South Florida.  Upon graduation, he was nationally certified as a Physician Assistant and began working to help patients with his medical knowledge.

His love of sports and working closely with patients to help them overcome injuries took him to Arizona where he worked for over 4 years in orthopedic surgery. There he learned how to diagnose and treat the vast spectrum of orthopedic injuries. He maintained a conservative practice and tried to help patients avoid surgery with a variety of non-surgical treatments but also understood when conservative treatments were failing and when it was time to consider surgery.

Shawn is committed to being respectful and responsive to his patient’s needs. He strives daily to provide comprehensive care that is tailored to each patient’s individual needs. His goal with his patients is to help them to overcome physical limitations and help them to better live lives doing what they want to do.

He joined Wasatch Pain Solutions and moved his family back to Utah to further his knowledge in non-surgical orthopedic care and interventional spine and pain management.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children doing a variety of outdoor activities including biking, hiking, fishing, camping, and hunting. He enjoys exploring all over Utah as well as across the country having visited 49 of the 50 United States. He is excited to return to the Wasatch front and help serve the people that call it home.
